ABOUT rita
Rita's Total Wellness Studio is my gift to my Mother, Rita Arlene Thomas.
My personal healing journey began on April 12, 2020, when my Mom Rita Arlene transitioned to spirit. I felt like my whole world had shattered, it was as if my entire universe as I had known it had come to an end.

I could not wrap my head around how the one person I had known from the moment I took my first breath was no longer here with me. I could not believe that she no longer existed when she had been such a vital part of my life.
​
I was so heartbroken, I had no idea how I would ever be able to pick up the pieces and keep living without her.
​
I searched far and wide to find some form of solace in her passing. It was only when spirit guided me to visit a medium to gain some sort of "closure", that I gained an understanding of what spirit is, and knew beyond a doubt that my Mom's spirit continues to exist and that she was and would always be here with me.
​
That visit truly opened my eyes and I now know that as hard as it was, there was somehow a lesson for me in losing my Mom. Everything I had ever believed was challenged and life as I knew it was forever changed.
​
My Mom advised me through the medium that she wanted me to learn how to communicate with her, and I have always trusted her advice so I knew that this was something I could do and had to do. I started studying everything about spirit and energy that I could get my hands on. The more I learned, the more I began to gain a clearer understanding of my own soul plan and journey, and discovered what it is I have been called to do during this lifetime here on earth.

In my own healing journey, I studied various modalities, including Massage Therapy, Usui Reiki Healing, Intuitive Healing, Life Coaching, Psychic & Mediumship Development and Meditation. I know, from my personal experience that these are paths to healing and as I became adept at these, I am also able to help others to heal and live their best possible lives in spite of the painful experiences we have here on earth.

Healing and wholeness spring from not just healing the physical body, but are rooted in healing the mind and most importantly, the spirit. Within every loss that we experience, there is a lesson for us to learn that can help us to come out of that season of hurt stronger than we ever were before.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. Massage Therapy involves using different pressures, movements and techniques to manipulate muscles and other soft tissues in the body. Massage Therapy can be used to release stress and tension, provide relief from symptoms, heal injuries and support overall wellness.
I am a Certified Reiki Master and Teacher. Usui Reiki teaches the practitioner how to channel universal Reiki Healing Energy to restore and rejuvenate the physical and spiritual body.

I am a Certified Crystal Practitioner. Crystal Healing is an intuitive connection, where the practitioner helps the client connect to their inner selves and gain a greater understanding of their energy centers and how to work with crystals to promote healing. This involves applying a knowledge of the healing properties of individual crystals and in combination, along with with Chakra Balancing and teaching clients how to harness the powerful benefits of crystals.

I am a Certified Intuitive Healer. Using psychic intuition, mediumship, divination tools (pendulums & oracle cards) and Angelic guidance, I provide intuitive spiritual readings in areas such as career, love & relationships, how to heal from past trauma, and how to manifest and create the life that you truly want.
